Naples Concert Band opens the new season with a free Veterans Salute at Cambier Park at 2 p.m., introducing new conductor and music director Tim Yontz with guest vocalist Heather Ivy. It’s an easy Old Naples afternoon; bring chairs, gather the family and sample bites from on-site food trucks.

Join Empty Bowls Naples for a hands-on ceramic mug workshop from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Learn slab-building, handle attachment and surface design techniques—no wheel required. Open to all skill levels, the class includes all necessary materials and tools. Plus, you’ll leave with a hand-made mug ready for firing.
