Happy Friday, friends! August is here, and it is bringing a full weekend of things to do around Naples and Southwest Florida. Head to Southern Fresh Farms in Fort Myers for live music under the palms with No Way Out on Friday and Gray Gaulding on Saturday, both starting at 5:30 p.m. Families will love Disney's Newsies JR. at Gulfshore Playhouse, with shows running Friday through Sunday. And if you want something a little different, Bonita Springs Riverfest takes over historic downtown Bonita Springs on Saturday with paddling races, live entertainment and food along the Imperial River.
Saturday keeps the energy going with the Aloha Pool Party at Perrydise inside The Perry Hotel in Naples, a Latin inspired pool celebration with live music and tropical drinks starting at 3 p.m. Prefer something a little quieter? Try the Sunset Paint and Sip at LaPlaya Golf Club, where you will paint a Gulf sunset with a cocktail in hand. Naples Zoo also opens free to Collier County residents this Saturday.
