Things to Do in Naples and Southwest Florida This Weekend, July 10 to 12 2026

One of the questions I hear most from people moving to Naples and Southwest Florida is simple. What is there actually to do here? This weekend answers that question better than I ever could. Between live music, a mango festival, a new restaurant opening and a Wimbledon watch party at one of Naples' newest resort lounges, there is proof everywhere that life here moves at a pace that still has plenty going on.

Here is a look at some of the weekend's highlights across Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and Marco Island.

Live Music and Nightlife

Southwest Florida's live music scene runs every night of the week, and this weekend is no exception. Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating National Piña Colada Day and National Mojito Day with a full tropical weekend, including steel drum music from Orlando Philips on Saturday. Marly Johnson takes the stage Friday night at Unity of Naples for a sing-along evening of Latin rhythms and classic hits. Blues fans should head to Arts Bonita Performing Arts Center on Saturday night, where award-winning guitarist Selwyn Birchwood brings his electric swamp funk sound to the stage. And on Sunday evening, The Naples Players' Kizzie Theater hosts a Candlelight concert celebrating the music of Fleetwood Mac, with a string quartet performing favorites like Landslide and The Chain.

Food, Drink and New Openings

Naples' dining scene keeps growing, and this weekend brings a preview of what is next. Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk celebrates its grand opening ribbon cutting at Coconut Point on Saturday afternoon, ahead of its public debut on July 13. Over at Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, the Pop-Up Pub Series continues with a preview of The Wager, the new sports lounge opening this fall, paired with a Wimbledon finals watch party both Saturday and Sunday. And on Pine Island, MangoMania takes over the Winn-Dixie Plaza for a full day of tropical fruit tastings, growing seminars, live music and the always popular Biggest Mango Contest.

Arts, Theater and Culture

Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre continues its run of The Wizard of Oz through August 8, bringing the classic musical to the stage with a dinner-and-show experience the whole family can enjoy. Saturday brings The Firm Soul & Dance Revue to Cape Cabaret Dinner Theater, with a seven-piece band performing hits from Earth, Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Prince. And art lovers can catch the final day of the Blooming at Work exhibit at Naples Botanical Garden on Sunday, an exhibition created entirely by the Garden's own team.

Outdoor and Family Fun

Take the family to Wild Saturdays: Gopher Tortoises at Big Corkscrew Island Park, a hands-on morning of games and activities exploring one of Florida's most important native species. Start Sunday with Poolside Pilates at Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples, or cruise Naples Bay, Port Royal and the Gulf aboard the Naples Princess for a chance to spot dolphins and manatees along the way.

Farmers Markets

Saturday and Sunday bring farmers markets to nearly every corner of Southwest Florida, including Miromar Outlets, Third Street South, Vanderbilt Beach, Golden Gate, Bonita Springs, Sanibel Island, Pine Ridge Road and Cape Coral. It is one of the easiest ways to spend a morning outside, meet local vendors and pick up fresh produce for the week ahead.

Weekends like this one are a good reminder of why so many people fall in love with life in Naples and Southwest Florida. There is always something happening, whether it is live music on a Friday night, a new restaurant opening on Saturday or a quiet Sunday morning at the farmers market.
