Blind Boys of Alabama – Experience over seven decades of gospel, blues, and R&B with their soulful harmonies and captivating live performance at Hayes Hall, celebrating the enduring power of music for the soul ( Jan 13, 7:30pm ).

 

Chicago Symphony Orchestra – Visiting Orchestras Series, conducted by Riccardo Muti, Music Director Emeritus for Life. Experience two nights of exquisite music: Italian and Mediterranean-inspired works on Tuesday, including Donizetti, Verdi, Chabrier, Falla, and Golijov’s Megalopolis Suite; and Bellini, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky on Wednesday. February 17-18, 2025, at Hayes Hall. Tickets include same-day admission to The Baker Museum.

 

Jazz History: Happy 100th! – Celebrate the lives and musical careers of jazz legends born in 1925, including Mel Tormé, Zoot Sims, Art Pepper, Oscar Peterson, and Roy Haynes, with Dr. Charles Bergeron, Professor of Jazz History at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Paul Taylor Dance Company with the Naples Philharmonic – A trio of masterpieces choreographed by Paul Taylor, including Sunset, Promethean Fire, and Scudorama.
