Opera Naples’ Festival Under the Stars 2024 offers a series of opera events March 1 through March 9. Most performances take place at the transformed Cambier Park Softball Field, with its elevated stage, reserved seating and VIP tables, at 601 Park St., Naples, and at the Wang Opera Center, at 2408 Linwood Ave., Naples. operanaples.org or 239-963-9050.

  • March 8 – “Madama Butterfly” performances take place at 7 p.m. March 8 and 7:30 p.m. March 10 at Cambier Park. Jennifer Rowley, mezzo soprano Julia Maria Johnson, tenor Martín Nusspaumer and baritone Raymond Diaz are featured in Puccini’s masterpiece. Tickets: $28-$152. VIP tables start at $350, including access to a VIP cocktail reception from 6-7 p.m.

Chamber Music – The Naples Philharmonic performs at 3 p.m. March 10 and 12 in Daniels Pavilion at Artis—Naples. The final Sypert Salon chamber music series features the musicians of the Naples Philharmonic performing a selection from Paganini’s 24 Caprices, two unusual arrangements of works by J.S. Masterworks – The Naples Philharmonic performs Gershwin’s “An American in Paris” and Stravinsky’s “The Firebird Suite” at 8 p.m. March 14 in Hayes Hall at Artis—Naples. This Masterworks program showcases a range of musical styles in an exploration of the art of Gershwin. The program also includes Anna Clyne’s “Glasslands” featuring saxophonist Jess Gillam. Musical Tour – Gulfshore Opera’s Magical Musical Tour begins with a concert at 4 p.m. March 10 at First Presbyterian of Bonita Springs followed by a Gala Dinner at The Club at The Strand at 5:30 p.m. GO celebrates its 10th year with highlights from past performances and a glimpse of what’s to come and including come classic hits by The Beatles. Concert only tickets are $10 students, $35 standard, $50 preferred and $75 premium. The Gala Package includes a meet-and-greet with the performers, the concert and dinner for $300. Women’s Ensemble – “Go Divas,” a concert by Gulfshore Opera’s popular women’s vocal ensemble, composed of locally based, classically trained singers, takes the stage at 7 p.m. March 14 in the Moe Auditorium at Arts Bonita’s Performing Arts Center.

Dinner Event – Divas & Dinner is offered at 6 p.m. March 21 at The Club at The Strand, Naples. Enjoy a delicious dinner buffet at the Club at the Strand Garden Patio with The GO Divas. They will perform a concert featuring spring-themed selections with piano accompaniment. Popular, upbeat melodies are interspersed with beautiful, classical solos and opera ensembles creating a memorable concert of fine vocal music.
