Christmas in Naples on Fifth Avenue South festivities kick off this Friday with the much-anticipated Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., followed by a weekend of shopping, dining and live entertainment. Enjoy a charming holiday atmosphere as the street transforms with decorations, music and plenty of seasonal cheer, perfect for all ages. The event is free and open to the public, offering a delightful way to experience Naples’ festive spirit.

Mercato’s East West Fine Art gallery presents their Cloud Tree exhibit
Explore the Cloud Tree exhibit featuring surrealist and fantasy paintings by Stanislav Plutenko, on display at the Naples gallery from December 3–17. Plutenko’s work blends space, time and allegory, offering thought-provoking narratives that range from social commentary to Biblical reinterpretations. Festival of Trees is back for its 18th year at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center Festival of Trees returns from December 5–8, showcasing tinsel-tied holiday trees designed by local businesses to support Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. As you stroll through the festive forest, cast your votes for the best arbor and enter raffles to win a tree to take home. Each day holds something new, from Thursday’s Wine and Paint event, to Friday’s Wreath Lighting and concert from Southwest Florida’s The Beatles tribute band, The Nowhere Band, to Santa’s Block Party on Saturday.

Ghostbird Theatre Company presents Toadfrog at Koreshan State Park
Experience Toadfrog, an outdoor theatrical performance by Southwest Florida’s beloved nomadic theater company, set under the sprawling oak trees of the Koreshan State Park. This original production, from the mind of co-founding director Barry Cavin, combines songs, poems and stories inspired by the creatures who compose nature’s melodies. Bring a chair or blanket for the 7:30 p.m. show, and enjoy an enchanting evening in nature, suitable for ages 16 and up.

Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium kicks off their annual Holiday Lights trail walk
Celebrate the holiday season at the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium on select weekends throughout the month. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., enjoy a festive evening exploring a 0.3-mile nature trail wrapped in sparkling lights, then warm up by the fire with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. It’s a magical blend of holiday cheer and the beauty of nature!
