Mexico's Banda Los Recoditos brings its high-energy banda sinaloense sound to Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee. Gates open at 6 p.m., with DJ Angel performing at 7 p.m. before the band takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. for an outdoor concert.


Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center’s Bluegrass Music Series is back, bringing father-son duo Edgar and George Meyer to the Grand Atrium stage in Downtown Fort Myers. Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a 7:30 p.m. concert. A lauded bassist and composer, Edgar has been celebrated by The New Yorker for his technical mastery, while son George makes a splash by fusing classical and folk influences on the violin.

Discovering Ansel Adams opens at Artis—Naples, The Baker Museum, tracing the life of the influential landscape photographer, from his first Yosemite image in 1916 to personal tools and letters. Contemporary art curator Dianne Brás-Feliciano expanded the traveling exhibit by including works by Indigenous photographer Brian Zepeda, who offers a local perspective on the broader scope of landscape photography.

 

Naples Uke Fest fills Baker Senior Center Naples with ukulele performances, workshops and community gatherings. The festival features sets by Them Uke Boys, Uke 66 and the HUGS Players, with proceeds benefiting the center’s veterans programs.
