Memorial Day weekend kicks off at the Boca Grande Sandbar with the Sandbar Memorial Day H2O Music Fest, drawing beach lovers from all over for a full day on the water from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Floating stages host sets from country artists Redferrin and Taylor Holder, alongside blues band American Made and DJ Dank Williams.
A slower kind of Saturday unfolds on the water in Bonita Springs with Lightworx Paddle & Flow, with sessions at 8:30 and 11:30. The two-hour experience offers paddleboarding through calm coastal waters with sandbar yoga, breathwork and sound healing at Hickory Pass before a relaxed return through the mangroves. Dry bags for personal items, yoga mats and water are provided.
