Wonder Gardens will host “Boo-tanical Weekend,” a Halloween-themed event Oct. 11-13 with family friendly activities, free with paid admission to the gardens. The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11; and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13 and includes games, crafts, local vendors, face painting and more! Select activities are subject to an additional fee. Every pumpkin sold, will aid this nonprofit with increasing awareness and addressing the pet overpopulation crisis in Southwest Florida. This Saturday through Sunday October 20th.
Boo At The Zoo – Caribbean Gardens – This year, your Zoo is bringing the movies to life! Guests will enjoy the Zoo magically transformed into a living movie scene, with costumed characters and trick-or-treating. Laugh in the face of the danger as you meet a real velociraptor, then sail away with pirates on the Pirate Expedition Cruise. We invite you to be our guest as you meet some of the most royal princesses in the land and some of the bravest superheroes in town! Join us for a party that gets bigger and better around every turn! Activities include a trick-or-treat trail, education stations, a scavenger hike, character meet-and-greets, face painters, a magic show, and endless photo opportunities. As always, guests can also enjoy watching the animals go wild “carving” their pumpkins and treats with tooth, horn, and claw. All the Boo at the Zoo activities are included in regular Zoo admission. The first weekend kicks off on Saturday, October 12, Sunday, October 13, then another three days of excitement Friday, October 18, Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20.
