Typically known for their slapstick comedies and farcical productions, Naples’ rag-tag theater troupe, The Studio Players, is breaking new ground with a dramatic, one-act performance of Prodigal Son. The season-ending show is led by burgeoning local theater talent, Landon Libbey, who makes his debut with The Studio Players after dazzling audiences in The Naples Players’ productions of A Christmas Carol and 42nd Street last season.

 

Don't miss Venus in Fur, directed by Chris Clavelli, running from April 15 to May 18, 2025, at the Artstage Studio Theatre. Sponsored by Bruce & Janet Bunch, this provocative drama by David Ives explores the power dynamics between men and women. When Thomas, a director struggling with auditions, meets the bold actress Vanda, the line between reality and performance begins to blur. Full of wit, sensuality, and drama, Venus in Fur promises an intense, erotic experience. Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays!

 

Half Baked – Broadway Palm Theatre presents “Half Baked” through May 24. Two retired brothers and their wives start a café in Florida, resorting to murder and baking cannabis into appetizers to save the business, leading to a series of hilarious complications. Get ready for a wildly funny night with Gutenberg: The Musical, starring Larry Alexander and Adolpho Blaire, running from February 5th to 15th, 2026! This comedic, fast-paced two-man show follows Bud (Adolpho Blaire) and Doug (Larry Alexander), two eager theatre writers who attempt to pitch a hilariously inaccurate musical about Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press, to potential investors.
