What's Happening in Southwest Florida This Weekend: June 6–8, 2026

Summer is officially here in Southwest Florida, and the calendar did not get the memo that things are supposed to slow down.

This weekend — June 6 through 8 — is packed with live music, theater, community events, and more. Whether you live here year-round, you are visiting, or you are starting to think seriously about making this your home, here is what is happening.

Oliver! Opens at TheatreZone in Naples

One of the most iconic musicals ever written opens Thursday night at TheatreZone and runs through June 14. Lionel Bart's Tony Award-winning adaptation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist brings together a timeless story with songs that audiences have loved for decades, including "Food, Glorious Food" and "Where Is Love?" Evening performances are at 7:30 p.m. with weekend matinees at 2:00 p.m. A talkback discussion is scheduled for June 11. TheatreZone consistently produces excellent work, and this production is a strong pick for a date night or a family outing.

A Summer Luau at Founders Square

Saturday evening from 5 to 8 p.m., Founders Square celebrates the end of the school year with a free summer luau. Live music kicks off the night, followed by a Polynesian floor show featuring traditional dances from Tahiti, Hawaii, New Zealand, and Samoa. The evening closes with a fire knife performance. This is one of those only-in-Southwest-Florida experiences that feels like a bonus just for living here.

Monaco Grand Prix Watch Party at Inn on Fifth

If you want to start Sunday in style, Inn on Fifth on Fifth Avenue South is hosting a Monaco Grand Prix watch party beginning at 8:30 a.m. The setup includes a breakfast spread, mimosas, poolside viewing, and a ballroom lounge. It is a fun excuse to gather with friends and bring a little bit of Monte Carlo to Naples.

Live Music All Weekend Long

Southwest Florida's live music scene does not take weekends off, even in summer. Here are some highlights:

Friday night, The Stage in Bonita Springs hosts a Rod Stewart and Tina Turner tribute. Josh Rouse plays an intimate solo show at Arts Bonita Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. — tickets start at $42. The Dazzling Delrays take the stage at Dogtooth Sports Bar in Naples at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Rambleon — billed as the number one Led Zeppelin tribute band — plays The Stage in Bonita Springs. The Naples Jazzmasters perform Dixieland and swing music at the Norris Center at 1 p.m., free admission with donations appreciated. The Paradise Coast Sports Complex has live music from 5 to 8 p.m.

Sunday, Arts Bonita presents Magical Mystery Doors — a tribute mashup of Beatles, Zeppelin, and Doors hits — at 7 p.m. (tickets start at $49). The Festival of Great Organ Music at Artis-Naples features multiple organists performing Bach, Widor, Mendelssohn, and others at 3 p.m. (tickets start at $25). Blues and Brews featuring Cedrick Talton plays Jack's Seafood Bar from 1 to 4 p.m.

FC Naples vs. Sarasota Paradise

Professional soccer comes to Naples Stadium Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. FC Naples hosts Sarasota Paradise in a USL Cup matchup. Tickets start at $14. 3940 City Gate Blvd N, Naples.

The Ritz-Carlton Dining Passport

Running now through September 30, The Ritz-Carlton Naples is offering its Dining Passport program — a multi-course culinary journey spanning four of its venues: Dusk, Lobby Bar, Nolita, and Sofra. Each venue offers its own globally inspired menu. If you have been looking for a great reason to linger over a long dinner this summer, this is it.

Beach Bliss at Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery

Through July 18, the Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery is showing Beach Bliss — a summer exhibition featuring watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media works by local artists capturing Southwest Florida's coastline, wildlife, and water. It is a beautiful show and a great way to spend an afternoon.

Walk Among the Waterlilies at Naples Botanical Garden

Friday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m., the Naples Botanical Garden invites visitors to wade into the Water Garden alongside curatorial staff. You will learn smartphone and macro photography techniques while photographing the garden's waterlily collection up close. It is one of those experiences you cannot get anywhere else.

Farmers Markets This Weekend

Saturday: Third Street South Farmers Market (7:30 a.m.), Vanderbilt Farmers Market (8:30 a.m.), Bonita Springs Farmers Market at the Promenade (8 a.m.), Miromar Outlets Farmers Market and Craft Show (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

Sunday: Sanibel Island Farmers Market (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), Pine Ridge Road Farmers Market (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

Coming Up Soon

Mark your calendar now: Vince Gill brings his 50 Years From Home tour to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall on June 25. Twenty-two Grammy Awards. Five decades of great songwriting. Tickets are on sale now.
