Get inspired at Artis—Naples, The Baker Museum, where two newly unveiled exhibits carry weight well beyond the gallery walls. There & Here New: Perspectives of the Permanent Collection offers a hyper-local point-of-view on themes of migration, ancestry and geographic displacement. Contemporary art curator Dianne Brás-Feliciano worked with a committee of Southwest Florida philanthropists, activists and artists to curate the multi-year exhibit, selecting dozens of works spanning more than a century. Meanwhile, The Passion of Collecting: Stories in Glass and Ceramics from the Sibrack Collection—on view through fall 2026—showcases the dynamic glass and ceramic collection of Dr. Laurence and Rita Sibrack, recently donated to the museum. The Passion of Collecting: Stories in Glass and Ceramics from the Sibrack Collection, on view from January 10 through fall 2026 at The Baker Museum, celebrates a major gift from Dr. Laurence and Rita Sibrack, longtime Naples collectors. The collection features 74 contemporary glass and ceramic works by 60 artists, including Dale Chihuly, Dan Dailey, Amber Cowan, and Judith Schaechter, showcasing diverse studio glass techniques and figurative and abstract ceramics. Highlighting form, color, texture, and storytelling, the exhibition reflects the Sibracks’ passion for the studio glass movement and its innovative, expressive possibilities.
